PAST LIVES, PRESENT MOMENTS

A scene often proffers a singular image with myriad narratives within. Such moments require us to tune out everything else and use our imaginations.

Questioning is often an act of imagination. What is obvious, is often abstract. Familiar objects or events occasionally become disjointed from our experiential notions of reality and the expected reality of their intended purpose. I call it imagination. Others may consider this quandary to be slightly pixilated.

If one imagines this odd birdhouse on a pole next to a warehouse in the context of being an image say, 100 years from now, the narratives might increase ten-fold. This 21st Century Tin Type photography app allows us to view a scene as our progeny might see it in the years ahead.

Next time you wander through a junk or antique store and come across a box of vintage photos, pause and let your imagination take you into past lives and the present moment.
